Sounds like you're married........but he is not.
Obviously he has no interest in his home and family. And/OR he's simply very immature.

No, I think that is totally wrong!! Men need to realize that women need a break too. This is not that 50's. Women, today are strong and independent. And, why is he still hanging out with single guys? That's tends to cause a lot of problems. Old friends, yes I can understand that. But, he shouldn't be meeting new single friends. He needs to find friends that are couples. You should do the same too. Couple friends usually have a lot in common. Plus, when you have children, your family needs to come first.

Hanging with his friends is okay every now and then - but not CONSTANTLY!! He has a responsibility to his wife and children. Sounds like he has some growing up to do. How would he like it if his wife did this? He needs a reality check!!! Husbands and wives both deserve a little break every now and then...but each must be fair to the other!

No, not constantly. Sometimes, once a week, ok, but he needs to be home to support his wife in thier marriage and parenting responsibilities.
Leaving her at home to take care of everything while he is out playing single will only lead to trouble in the marriage. Sooner or later she will begin to resent him. The kids will begin to feel that Dad doesnt want to be around them and the marriage will suffer because he is sharing his days and feeling with his friends instead of with his wife, who should be his friend also. Without this sharing, the friendship in the marriage will die, the marriage will suffer and so will the kids. My husband and I have a deal, I get one night a week to pamper myself with a manicure, and he gets to hang out two nights a week, tues and thurs with the boys. No weekends allowed, those are for us. It seems to work out okay. We both know the rules and follow them, and we are both agreeable to them. Good luck.

No, he shouldn't. Have you guys talked about this?

See if you can work out a compromise where he goes out one night a week with the guys, you go out one night a week with the girls (or just to get some peace and quiet) and the rest of the nights you spend together. If he won't agree to that, or if he agrees and then breaks the rules ... then you need marriage counseling.

Edit: You know, I forgot to mention it couldn't hurt if you can work out one night a week for "date night" when a sitter or relative watches the kids while you two reconnect.

Sometimes maybe but not constantly. After all he married you not his single friends. Marriage should be love, trust, and companionship. Plus he should spend time with his children.

Of course not---if he loved hanging out with his single friends so much, he shouldn't have gotten married

its good for him to get out once in a while...and for you too. i am a mother of 3 and would prefer my man home with me. i feel we should be able to go out together and hang with our friends. go dancing, to a bar and play pool, movies...whatever.

just let him know that you need a break too and its not fair for him to put all the responsibility on to you. he needs to work with you.

or better yet...have the gatherings at your house...let him invite a couple guys over to hang out with and then you dont have to worry about him..

you need to get a reality check because you are married to a beautiful lady and you need to spend time with her because she is the one that is not having fun and you are drinking with your friends? Sorry buddy but that is the truth.
