Hi dudes and dudettes!

Every recess, my friends and I play double-dutch (skipping with two ropes). But everytime I jump in, I always stop the ropes. My friends said to start in but that just seems even harder.

Can you all tell me like when to jump in and how to jump the ropes and stuff like that. It would help me a lot!

Thanks so much y'all!

it takes practice, jump in when 1st rope has just left the ground, then jump again to accommodate the 2nd rope which is just about to hit the ground. it is tricky but once you get the hang of it you get a great feeling of satisfaction.

Try jumping in by standing closer to one end near the twirlers and jump in diagonally.

You just have to study each person's style to notice their timing and foot placement.
You'll get it.
Have a star.
