Notice how this happened so early in the game.......it was a deliberate and planned action.

This is old news...
Henry was running straight towards Cannavaro without looking in front of him. I personally I don't think that "punch" so called, was so painful that Henry had to react like that.
I'm saying that it is possible Henry could have exaggerated his fall.
And even Zidane agrees that Cannavaro deserved the World player award so I really don't know what your problem is ,sour grapes perhaps. And maybe you should stop changing your loyalty every 2 seconds, and accept the fact that Cannavaro won the award!

Well, it seemed too bad for Henry, but excuse me, it was not Cannavaro's fault.
First, it's not Cannavaro who ran into Henry. It's Henry who ran into and hit Cannavaro. I like Henry because he is such a 'stealth' striker, fast and smart, but this time why did he look behind while running forward? He should have been aware of his left, right, and front side while running.
Second, Cannavaro just used his hands to protect himself against Henry's 'assault'. Did you notice that Henry just ran like a bulldozer?
Third, why did a bigger and taller player like Henry can be 'beaten' by a smaller and unmoving player like Cannavaro in a body contact? There is no reason for referee to book Cannavaro.
Fourth, football is 'manly' sport. Sometimes you may come accross hard body contact, but as long as it is done fairly without intention (well, OK, this is very hard to prove) to injure opponent there is no reason to punish a player. It's not like beach volleyball or basketball, where you are not allowed to 'take down' your opponents at all.
Fifth, I think Henry is being frustrated now. France couldn't win World Cup, Arsenal are missing titles, and he himself cannot win the best player trophy. No wonder he say the statement, which he may regret later.

if you knew anything about football you wouldnt be talking...it's a defender's JOB to stop the attacking players from making a move so stepping in henry's way was a legitimate move, i do it all the time. even if it wasnt a dive and henry did get hurt, it was a little knock to the chin he could have played the rest of the match
