I found out that my boyfriend of 8 years has posted a personal ad on Yahoo for Men seeking Women. He is keeping it a secret from me and I don't know what I should do! Help! What would you do?

Leave him! I advice you do it now. This is coming from someone who has been hurt before. It is alright to be alone. It makes us stronger. As bad as it hurts though.. it is better to do it now instead of waiting, and stressing about when he will leave... because at this point it is obvious he will. Right now he is just leading you on, and toying with you. Im sorry you found out this way. Its sad. If you need someone to talk to......

Probably isn't the first time.
If you really love the jerk you can let him know that you know what he is doing and see if he wants to keep the relationship going. If so, forgive him and try to forget.
If he continues to lie, let him go. It won't get any better.
Of the course the ultimately decision is up to you. Oh and get a check up at the doctor's, he may have STDs.

I would print out that ad. Tape it to the front of the computer monitor. Get a BIG marker and write
"Good Luck and GoodBye LOSER"
across it.
Walk away, change my phone number, never look back.
Look for someone better because I deserve it.

It depends on where your relationship is going after 8 years of dating. Long courtships usually don't end up in marriage. How did you find the posting? Talk to him about it, but don't scream. Find out where he's going, then you'll know where to go. If he apologizes, forgive him, but ask him just where the relationship is going.

Jesus would forgive him, I would resent him and kick him out.
or at least confront him, but when you confront him you are running the risk of a huge fight, cuz you were "snooping" and men hate this, especially when they are doing something wrong and get caught at it.
I would probably just leave him, there are other men out there, start a new with someone who appreciates you and to hell with the "ad-man"

You should confront him about it. Ask him why he posted it. Ask him if he's been in contact with anybody. Ask him if he's just keeping you around until something better comes along. When you're done asking questions, say, "Well good luck with that," and then break up with him.

If I was you I would confront him if he lies about it dump him. He might have a good excuse I doubt it though. as far as what Jesus would do if he admits it and says he is sorry and deletes the ad Jesus would forgive him.

Doesn't sound like he considers himself your boyfriend anymore. After 8 years, if he isn't committed to you anymore, so I'd post my own ad.

Use some one Else's computer and get on to the same site pretend to be very interested in him and see how far he is prepared to go with out letting him know who you really are.

Ask him if he wants to take a break. There are plenty of other men who would walk on needles for you.
