ah, the great mystery... good question, wish i had a good answer. I have attempted suicide 3 times so far, almost succeeded last time too, however, i don't feel that way anymore, i guess i've had a 'spiritual awakening' of sorts, now i'm in college and things are slowly looking up, but i'm still new to this so i'm treading lightly, everyday i find new joys... I will add you to my prayers, may you find some kind of peace and joy in life :)

I'm a Christian, and the point of life is that there is eternal life in heaven after I die. Before I became a Christian I had thoughts of Why, What for? and so on. Now, I live every day looking for opportunities to serve and be kind to others, starting in my own home. It's often the hardest to do within your family, although that should be easiest. As Martin Luther once said:" If the world would end tomorrow, I'd go out today and plant a tree."

You live to find out you own purpose. Sometimes, I think... there are so many species on earth, why was I chosen to be human? What did I do to deserve an opportunity and what do I want to do to keep its honor? I have downfalls , and wish I can start over... but it's not like that. It becomes a challenge to start all over but stronger with all the experience and triumphs.

The point is experiencing what is within us and around us, although we get befuddled with negative emotions that drain us, stress and current events. Of course we die but in the meantime, make something of yourself- get out of the house, take a walk to the park, smell the air, it may be polluted but at least you got that feeling of oxygen.

You're here so the sun can give you sunburn, the rain can drench you, the snow can turn you into a snowgirl. In short you're here to be target practise for the elements. If you also look up the Yorkshire song, "On Ilkla Moor B'aht 'At" ("On Ilkley Moor Without A Hat", in proper English) you'll discover you're also here to provide nourishment for worms that in turn provide nourishment for ducks, which in turn provide nourishment for your best mates. So to recap, you're here to feed your friends and get rained on. Does that help?
Yorkshire folk seem to relish the unfairness of their lives. As a tot, I used to get bounced up and down on my grandad's knee to the following:
" Johnny on the railway, picking up stones.
Along came an Engine and broke his little bones.
'Oh!', said Johnny, 'That's Not Fair!',
'Oho!', said the Engine, 'I Don't Care!'
(If anyone else recalls this ditty, please Email me and say 'Hi!')

What's the point of eating if you're only gonna get hungry again. What's the point of washing your hands if they're only going to get dirty again. What's the point of sleeping tonight when you're only going to be tired again tomorrow. Just do it. And enjoy it while you can. It's an experience.

All things must come to an end sometime, the fun is in the journey not the destination.
