hmmm i recko he might fancy you then..just play it by ear..he might feel embarrased ot think he has said something wrong, just go off his signals and if that fails play hard to get yourself! if he genuinely likes you he will find another way of making contact/conversation.

Agree with some of the others, don't just keep your chats on work stuff. People do get stuff to obsess over at work, like their work and deadlines etc, so don't just take a day's lack of looks as meaning more than it may do.
Be a bit more proactive and find out about his interests etc, and see if you have much in common. If you're just looking for a shag, then work mates are not usually the right choice, so get looking elsewhere. I sense that you'd probably like to get to know him better and see if there's more potential.
Coffee, or offer a beer to ease the pressures of work. Or if you find out about his interests, through use of other means to get to know him, such as popping around to his area, etc. could well be valuable. Don't just rely on him staring, looking etc. as he will often be busy and this doesn't lead to much further conversation. Eventually he may feel that he needs to constrain his looking at you, as some other guys might find this awkward, which he may have found from previous experiences etc.
Go for it, or rather him. There will be no best options, other than to make yourself seem open and friendly and willing to do some of the work. If you get negative vibes, you may need to move at his pace or back off altogether.
Good luck! Rob

Hmm although I'm very feministic and would normally say screw him because he quit looking at you, he could've just been having a bad day and didn't feel like talking or flirting. If you really like him, you should give it a shot. Go up to him when you see him and YOU be the conversation starter for a change. Who knows, he could be feeling for you what you're feeling for him, wondering why you're not talking to him... Good luck!

It's never a good idea to try and start something with anyone you work with. Also, if you feel that he has been avoiding you since the time you spoke, your instincts are telling you that he is not interested. Save yourself the anguish and find someone who wants you and will come to you straightaway and sweep you off your feet. Bless your heart, I hope you find a good one very soon! Good luck!

Hmmm, in my case it would be me fixing the printer and I def wouldn't be chasing him! Yank a lead out of the printer so he has to come back, then ask him to go for coffee. He'll either agree or run for the hills, either way you'll know!

Sometimes strange things happen in computer land. Your printer might become partially unplugged and quit working. Gosh, you would have to call him over again to fix it and could get a chance to have a few words with him.
Perhaps not too ethical, but it works.

hey, there's somethin you kinda did wrong... you never talk with a potential date about work even tho you're in a workin place... that gives the idea of non-interest in the person... instead of talkin about work, you should have invited him to have a coffee or somethin as a "thank you" for whatever reason you find, insist if necessary...

well you do only live once and i am in this situation well was and i did it i asked him out for a coffee and he accepted and well now we have 3 beautiful children. and he's obviously just shy and embarrassed. this is a good sign which shows he likes you other wise he'd just keep working normally. so you're in.
Go for it!!
