Go to the grocery store buy black pepper seeds and start a tree. Plant the seeds in soil until they sprout and become sturdy. Just like you did as a kid in grade school the teacher had you bring in some dried beans and you planted them and they grew do the same with the black pepper.

Look for an organic store, or check out a farm or plant shop. You want to find a place that sells mostly seeds also. Make sure you know what you are getting into, some plants are very picky, and yes check out the internet just for information on how to plant and grow black pepper. Do you have a grounding machine for when the plants are ready to be harvested and used?????

Kudos for deciding to plant your own seeds, cuz alot of the seeds that you get at the store have about 15% bat and fly feces, which can make you get sick if the feces is contaminated.

Black pepper is piper nigrum berries that grow on a flowering vine native to southern India.

Have you considered growing chili petin instead. Known here as "turkey peppers". They are about the same size as pepper corns and can be dried and ground. They are like tiny balls of concentrated fire. They grow wild in south Texas. Seeds can be bought. They will come back on their own in flower beds in warm areas.

I'm not sure about how to grow black pepper or what weather conditions would work...but why not just buy whole peppercorns instead? And get yourself a pepper mill. Then, you can grind your own pepper right on to the food. Kind of neat...and it tastes better too.

i attempted countless situations, yet to no avail.. i grew them in pods in a greenhouse, then tried coldframes, then on a sunny window sill and nonetheless not something.. I went to a very sturdy backyard centre and offered one hundred seedlings already planted up and starting to be nicely, and that they've been wonderful . Out of the one hundred i probable had 60 sturdy flowering fruitful vegetation. I grew them interior the greenhouse before each and every thing and then located them interior the coldframe. It develop into the least confusing option to try this fairly than spending all that element potential and attempt on seeds that i only could desire to not get to advance. the suited element is to make certain what type and varieties there are available to advance from seeds. sturdy success and probably you may have greater excitement than i did..

Try the UK based company Chiltern Seeds (do a google search for their www). They sell seeds of black pepper (Piper nigrum) for about GBP 2.50 per packet (US$ 5.00) and they deliver all over the world.

Ebay is also a good place to look for seeds, or try a google search for a supplier of exotic greenhouse plants (which is where you'll need to grow it- it likes warmth and humidity).
