When: 10,000 years into the future.
Human knowledge and technology is progressing at such a phenomenal rate, that I would enjoy living then to see how all our concerns today work out.

Mexico Peninsula during the golden age of the Mayan culture, so I could had learn some good math and maybe then I would had not dropped out of college because I could not pass college Algebra, but it would had been nice to know what motivated the Mayans to build such beautiful temples, palaces, and how they dit it, and to imagine it wasn't that long ago, just gives a sense that maybe we are not all doom to stupidity, for the Mayans knew something, just like to know what, and how they came about it.

Rome during the height of the Roman Empire. It would be have been good to live at a time where the root of all civilisation was created.
Like the previous answer, the thought of wearing a toga appeals too!

Hmmm, the root of all civilization . . I think it's earlier than Rome! I was going to say that I would like to travel to central Asia/India around 6000 BC, to see what sort of civilization was living there. (there is evidence of city planning and the whole bit!). I may not want to live then, though! Living in Tibet before the Communists invaded might have been cool.

Where do I begin. Tudor England to see shakespear, the Globe, Queen Elizabeth the original, London bridge, or perhaps to the time of Jesus Christ to shoot the breeze with a fellow seeker of knowledge. I'd hitch a lift with Dr Who anytime.

Looking to the past, it greatly depends what social class I would be. Though, I think I would quite like to go to the Pax Romana time and be a noble type. I chose this time because of the tranquility of the Empire and I think it would be fun to wear a toga.
