I think that when you really want to get to know a person, the way they dress, they way the act in public, the people they hang out with....all of that is a part of them, true, however you cant truely get to know a person unless you get to know who they are inside, so as honoured as i would be to be judged by the amazing friends i have, i would prefer that they get to know me through me and not by the people i hang out. :)

It was that way for me in high school everyone thought I was just like the people I hung out with when I really was not. But no matter what people are going to make up their own idea of who you are whether they know you or not.
A closed mind is forced to assume!

I want people to know me for exactly what I am. Who I hang out with does not define that in any way.

That is difficult. I hang out with strangers so how are you to judge me? You can't so you have to look at what I do and never who I am with.

I would prefer they get to know me directly and not by the company I keep.

I'll allow it, but I'm not too similar with them.

Yes. I have nothing to be ashamed about. If someone doesn't like my friends that's their problem.
