Is it only me but don't you find it annoying that Matin jol was so happy he managed a draw with a team hit with so many injuries. The gunners played better than spurs for most of the game. I don't care what anyone says you should be able to win your home games in a derby, if not for a few seconds arsenal would have done the double on them. Arsenal will always be a better team than spurs, if you can't beat them when they are down then you are hopeless. My question is when will Spurs accept accept Arsenal is a better team. Go Gunnerssssssssssss

For the Moron that called me "a@rsehole"guess the reason your manager was unable to read the game was cos he could not read and for your info the operative word here is "read" you ignorant fool. Just shows you the ambitions of that club when they're are celebrating a draw as if they'd won.
Man u they ain't close to us they're light years behind, we're without two world class strikers and they're still 9 points behind. If they didn't beat us this year with what's gone on with our team they never will. records read played 4 won 3 drawn 1. Say no more they are a mid table team., they're more rivals of Portsmouth than ours.

well you have to understand that a draw with Arsenal, even at home is the best Martin Jol could ever wish for.. Arsenal were playing away, other than the past 3 games they haven't been in good form, they have no strikers playing to speak of except Adebayor.. no Henry and van Persie. Still, they couldn't beat us so a draw is their dream come true.

Oh for god sake, this injury thing is only an excuse. It's all down to management. Good management in any business is being prepared for any eventuality. If a football manager is able to use injury as an excuse he is failing to accept the fact that he has failed to structure his team to deal with any injury situation. That's good management. In fact that is more then good management. That is what management of anything is all about. Preparing your structure and staffing to be able to cope with anything. "I'm doing badly because I've got all these injuries," means I am failing to manage properly. Full Stop. Apart from which who cares how badly Arsenal do, they are not an English team, have nothing to do with English football at all. Thank God they are out of Europe, I hope they don't qualify next year or ever again unless they have at least 3 or 4 englishmen in their first team. If that French guy was a good manager they would have some great young english players coming through regurlarly from their academy, just like Man U do regularly. What kind of manager is it who cannot set up a scouting system capable of finding some english talent. Sooner you go down to the lower divisions the better. To answer your question, that's why Martin Jol is smiling, he knows the above to be true. I'm also smiling

I must say I agree with trouble. Just look at the number of quality strikers Arsenal has lost down the years at the expense of Thierry Henry. He wanted all the limelight but the truth is that you cannot go on knocking the odd thirty goals season after season. The club has failed to develop a credible replacement emphasizing rather on the mid-field which cannot deliver when it matters. For goodness sake Freddie is way past it.

Neither team has hit the heights this season. I don't know why Martin Jol is so happy. If his team played properly instead of faffing around so much with back and sideways passes, they would be a lot higher up the Premiership.

He is proberly happy they managed to get a draw. Spurs are like that. Benitez said it earlier this season, the smaller teams view draws as big results. That's what Jol is doing.

Give them credit for drawing at home. It's a big result for them but it's wouldn't do for us at home.

That's the difference in quality.

cant argue with what youre saying but im happy we got the draw cos it cost you more. you expect to win and in all honesty you should have but you didnt. you didnt make your chances count and spurs were able to rally to get the late equaliser. youre not annoyed that jol is happy youre annoyed you didnt win. for now you are the better team but this year we have progressed roll on next season!

of course arsenal are a better team
but spurs aren't that far behind
and it doesn't mean that u have to be a better team than them to beat them on the day

Portsmouth beat us but it doesn't mean that they are generally better than us
do u see my point?
