Honey, it already IS a big deal.
There may have been more of a backlash, if that's what you mean, but undeservedly so. I'd like to point out that the Muslims here in Southeast Michigan are pillars of their respective communities, a large number of them being physicians.
Oklahoma City was a big deal, Columbine was a big deal...do I need to go on? All perpetrated by "regular white guys."

It's a big deal no matter what, but yeah I think people would be yelling louder about a non citizen being able to legally purchase guns if the guy was Muslim.

Dont put this into a religion war... thats not about the muslims or someone else... Cho has his own problems against the Uni.. so he did... but not bcoz of religion or something else..so keep it clear...

Why are you trying to make a bad situation worse? He was Korean, and nobody is blaming all Koreans. Cho obviously had a mental illness, and I think most people recognize that it had nothing to do with religion or race or gender or anything else like that.

Definitely! By now, you'd hear that several Indians (I say Indians as ppl don't seem to know the difference b/w a Middle Eastern and someone from India) were murdered by ppl angered by the VA Tech shootings!

If he declared himself a jihadist and submitted a video claiming to be killing in the name of Allah then, yes, it would be a "bigger deal"

As it is, it's a big enough deal. He killed in the name of socialism/liberalism.
