Always have many green pipe cleaners from xmas crafts. What spring crafts can you make with them? Perhaps a flower? I have yard and lot's of different bead, hot glue gun, all the essentials to be crafty. I saw a pencil once stuck in a mup of coffee beads. I can't remember how the pencil was decorated but the stem was a green pipe cleaner. Thanks.

How about bugs, use them as antennae!!!

Too bad it's so late. You could have made shamrocks for St. Patrick's day.
Why not make huge leaves, like palm, and then put them in with flowers that you've made out of other pipecleaners ? You could use them for the leaves and for the stems on the flowers. You could even put them in small pots and wrap them around the pots for a covering.
The pencil thing might have been that you wrap the pipe cleaner around the pencil from top to bottom. Then at the top you can attach a butterfly or ladybug or a flower.

You can also use them in various ways with polymer clay (or an air-dry clay).

Good idea about bugs! you could also do paper flowers and use them as stems.
