I am using the motorola software to backup my phoenbook to the computer, from there I want to save the backup file on another disk, but I cannot where the file is. Any ideas?

It's a bit buried. Look in "c:\documents and settings\username\local settings\BVRP software\motorola phone tools\backup". In my case the username is a default of "compaq owner"
Otherwise do a search for .csv files created/modified when you last backed up; directory may be marked as hidden

well i don't have my phone any more... well you get a usb cord for it...which is about $35... then you make an account with them.. but you have to pay every month i think it was..but thats how you get your phonebook backed up...
