There are sound emitting devices that humans can't hear but repell rodents that plug into a 110v electrical outlet. I have one in my kitchen and don't have any problems with bugs or rodents. Perhaps a car battery with an inverter could power both the rodent device and a trickle charger to keep the battery charged. Perpetual motion at work until the battery craps out after about 4 or 5 years.

I can't think of a better answer for REPELLING the mice than the one given about the sound device. I would, however, suggest that wherever possible you take off the boat any items that the mice would be attracted to, such as food, seat cushions, life preservers (they like the stuffing for their nests :)

I are attentive to that's complicated to do, even if the staggering element is to easily attempt to forged off hiding places and benefit expertise of to live with them. undergo in recommendations, the snakes are in basic terms as terrified of you as you're of them on condition that the they see you as a predator. they do no longer favor to attack you, and may maximum efficient strike as a very last hotel, on condition that the they favor to ward off dropping their venom for food sources.

Definately use poison! It causes them to dehydrate so they will mostly dry out and not stink. They will try to get to the nearest water source so they probably won't even end up in the boat. You just open up the little box full of poison seeds and put it on the floor. If you want you can make several little piles on pieces of cardboard or something.

Can you sink it? There's not much underwater that will be as destructive as nesting mice.
