Your question made me laugh...my husband said just last night when my son asked him what time he was going to get up, "I'll probably sleep in til about 6am" LOL Too funny to come and find your question here!

Me? I always get up around 6am, but that is still early to me! I love to sleep! I actually slept in 'til 7:30am this morning...whew, I feel refreshed ;-)

I start my new job monday...sleeping in will indeed mean 6:00 am. I just finished my old night job, when I slept until 2:00 pm. Right now I'm staying up for 30 hours straight to help me transition.

Which is why this answer is a little incoherant.

6:00, WOW! Now that's what I call sleeping in! For me, it's 5. I think it all started when all of us money hungry people started waking up earlier and earlier to find more time to go to work.

Good question! During the week I'm up by 5a.m. and on the weekends sleep in 'til 6a.m. There is something wrong with that!
My hubby gets home at that time so I get up for him so he doesn't come home to nothing. I get up and spend a little time with him before he goes to sleep.

The better question is.... when did it STOP. When America was more of an agrarian society, people woke before dawn to begin their day, now we see how long we can stay IN bed, not how soon we can get out of it.
