These kids are wonderful. My avatar is of Iraqi kids from a rural area of Baghdad.
The Iraqi people DO accept donations from the US and are happy to do it. They know the American people care about them and their lives.
As far as adopting a child from here, I'm not sure how that procedure works but I'm pretty sure it's a no go unless you are Muslim.

Saddam Hussein was not a false pretense, the WMDs were there, some may still be (artillery shells showing up as IEDs means there are caches yet undiscovered and destroyed, in 2004 they found some containing sarin and mustard gas, which, by checking with the UN, you will find are WMDs, plus the worst ones can be carried in a suitcase, and the vice air marshall has wrote a book describing the smuggling of WMDs out of Iraq by a 747 and 727s into Syria, in addition we know the Russian Spetsnatz who were in Iraq for at least the first week of the invasion, moved stuff out by truck convoy into Iran but mostly Syria. This is one reason why Syria is joined at the hip with Iran if either launches an attack with WMDs on the US or Isreal, they both go down. We do need to take better care of Americans, first, instead of spending ourselves bankrupt helping other nations that just backstab us for our efforts to help them.

of direction there are a number of motives to undertake from a foreign places united states of america, and multiple of the sensible motives are already listed. yet one greater reason, whether you're able to evaluate it "honest" to American babies or not, is that some human beings evaluate the circumstances of childrens in American orphanages (many times getting a minimum of three sq. nutrients an afternoon, and a few form of training and well-being care) to babies from different international locations, who won't even have those common desires being met, and come to a decision that they'll go with a infant who seems to have a lesser probability at fulfillment in lifestyles in the event that they don't get observed. i've got in no way fairly gotten why human beings ask "why not help American adoption/colleges/charities".. there are a number of human beings that DO help those circumstances, yet that would not propose human beings adopting/donating/helping in a foreign places united states of america are not doing amazing issues too. those babies want a house as badly as those youngsters right here interior the U.S. - a number of them, possibly worse. Edit: Wow.. i like how just about all human beings who gave solutions approximately why somebody could do that have been given thumbs down, even in spite of the undeniable fact that none human beings pronounced that we DID do this, purely presented achievable solutions the the question. Wasn't that the element? it is like somebody went by way of and pronounced "Oh, a majority of those everybody is for adoption from out of the U.S. only because of the fact they're giving a clarification why somebody could accomplish that, so.. THUMBS right down to ALL!! That develop into the question interior the 1st place.. "why could somebody..". each and every each and every now and then Yahoo solutions blows my suggestions.

No! We are not over there on false justifications. They were killing their own people off using, chemical warfare, did you forget about the masses of graves? Did you forget about 9/11? Did you forget about starving Americans, Americans that go without and need our support? Why are we trying to help out other countries, the innocent, when we cant take care of our own people first? there are VA hospitals for our veterans of war! And most veterans know why we are over there, Why not first start by " Supporting our troops" instead of falsely saying we are over there by false justifications! Thank you troops for keeping our homeland safe, and protecting our freedoms!!!!!!!!!!

I read an article months ago that said many American families have inquired about adopting orphaned Iraqi children over the last few years but the Iraqi government does not want any of their children being raised by Americans, in America, presumably of the Christian faith. They would rather have their orphaned children remain orphans. They also won't accept any humanitarian aid from American organizations, especially Christian ones.

Pesonally I'd put the program for the US vets and their families first. They have lost limbs etc for this travesty and some of the families who lost their veteran are left twisting in the wind.

Maybe kind Americans should consider adopting an American family or child that is destitute.
Enough of my tax dollars are going to that train wreck without paying out discretionary income too.

we keep up the way we are going, and its AMERICANS who will be destitute, this war we started over there isnt our war, we are just in the middle making things worse, and the longer we stay there the longer its gonna take for things to work themselves out and stabalize, so we are just prolonging the misery of everyone, at great cost to this country, we will be paying for it long after iraq has recovered.
