They both believe in speaking softly and carrying big sticks.
They both ordered attacks on foreign countries without declaring war(Roosevelt when he was assistant Secretary of Navy in 1898 on Spain and Bush on Iraq in 2003).
They both aggressively pursued insurgencies while facing a defeatist Democratic Party(Roosevelt in the Phillipines and Bush in Iraq)

The both had penises and a family member who was also president. Other than that, I would not put Bush in the same category as Roosevelt.

They are both americans!
Don't know about Rossevelt. but Bush is not that intellegent. He is more fit for running a ranch and may be look after the cows. That would suit him better. Who is Roosevelt any way?

Both are male.
Both are Republicans.
Both are presidents.
The similarities stop there, as Roosevelt was smart, brave, and the first conservationist.

George W. Bush (not a Jr., by the way) shares the following similarities with Theodore Roosevelt.
1. Both are men who have served as state governors prior to becoming Republican Presidents of the USA.
2. Both are well educated, intelligent men.
3. Both have a good grasp of foreign affairs and what should be done about them.
4. Both were aware of the dangers of remaining isolationist, and not getting involved in the world around them.
5. Both have been referred to as cowboys (a good thing!).
...and finally,
6. Both are religious, god-fearing men, proud of the country of their birth, and willing to do what it takes to protect that country.
TR, though, was much more concerned with protecting our borders, and not letting everyone who wanted to, to have entry into the country, without following proper protocol. GWB, could learn a lesson from TR on border control as a means of remaining aware of who has entered our country, in order to protect US. Citizens.
