In general if i get a bucket of Bondo body filler (the filler not the tape stuff) to use with a wire screen... how much filler will cover how much surface area? The hole i have is maybe 8-12 inches by 2-4 inches.

Rust repair? I reccomend fiberglass over the screen first get a surface to hook the bondo to. always make sure the surface build up is actually lower than the fender then blend out over the edge. When possable get replacement patch panels

Bondo and fiberglass are temporary fixes... have to cut and weld in new metal to do right.. rust will come back. only way to get it is to sand blast both sides of panels, then fiberglass... better off just getting repoped metal and welding it in

if You do it right ,You will make it, with half a gallon.
