How did it make you feel?...... i can think of so many sweet scents that have so many different effect on me.... one that sticks out is my Egyptian musk..... it is the most intoxicating beautiful sweet scent i have ever encountered.

And you? this could be perfume, incense sticks, aromatherapy oils, flowers....etc.....

when i was a very little girl ( about 4 I am guessing ) my great aunt ( dad's aunt ) gave me a little deep purple bottle that had a little plastic green pixie sitting on the lid ... inside the bottle was a scent called ENGLISH VIOLETS ... and it was the sweetest prettiest smell i had ever smelt...

I have since searched high and low to try and find the same scent.. i THINK it was by Yardly ... and though i have come across perfumes that are called English Violets and other variations of violets .. I am yet to find the exact same scent...

It's hard to describe to you how the scent made me feel .. because i was so young at the time .. as close to as i can tell you .. it was a contented happy feeling ..

Perhaps it's the passage of the near forty years since that has altered the smell in my memory and THAT is why i haven't yet been able to smell it again .. But if i close my eyes and concetrate . I am sure my mind can conjure up the smell of the scent once more.

There´s this desert flower called "Queen Of The Night", its white and really big (here´s a picture of one, if you´d like to see: http://www.lenarealty.com/flowers/qotn2041.jpg ), and as the name kind of suggests, this flower only blooms at night and is sadly already dead by morning...and i remember we used to have a few plants of these back home in our garden and i used to love waiting for the day the buds would bloom because when they did, it has the most amazingly sweet, intoxicating, flowery...absolutely gorgeous smell, i wish i could like put it in a bottle and breathe it in everyday lol. And the coolest thing about it was that, it had such a wide range that you could smell it all the way inside around the whole house. I really liked those flowers. :)

The scent of my baby boy who we lost at birth almost 10 years ago. As a Mom, it's a scent I knew I had to commit to memory because it was the last time I'd be able to hold him before his funeral. It was a sweet baby-powdery scent....so soft, and so beautiful. Certainly never to be forgotten. :-)

The REAL scent of jasmine blooming in the night surprised me; I'd always hated the scent until I smelled the real thing. We've got jasmine growing out near our patio and I absolutely love it. I've added it to my list of real scents that can't be duplicated :)

Oh Rebellious I wear Georgio Armani as my scent. I am attracted by musks and when a woman wears pheromones I cannot contol myself. Oh Baby you know.

My wife, the love of my life, died 17 years ago. She always used a face powder made by Givenchy. I keep a box of it in the lower drawer of my desk, and when I get so lonely that life becomes meaningless, I open the box and smell its contents, close my eyes and hear her whispering in my ear, "your time has not come yet, but I will wait for you."
