My cat only drinks out of the bath tub faucet so no matter how quietly I sneak to the bathroom, he always knows when I am in there and bam!! right there he is staring at me!! Drives me crazy but I love him silly!!

I think you may have a few different things going on. Let's talk about the easy one first. Do you have just one litterbox for your kitty? If so, try adding another box. Some cats don't like to pee and poo in the same box. I know it sounds weird, but it's true. Cats that are like this often develop the quirk later in life, so even if he used to pee and poo in the same box, his preference may be different now. You might also want to experiment with different litter types. Maybe he doesn't care for the texture or smell (odor control chemicals) of his current litter. Peeing is pretty quick, so maybe he can stand it for the short while, but pooping takes longer so that could be why he doesn't use the box for poo. The attacking part is somewhat perplexing. Without knowing the background of your cat, it's really hard to say. Has he always been like this? Was he taken from his mother too soon? It could be that he was never properly socialized and may need some conditioning so that he learns appropriate use of his claws and teeth. If that's not it, then he may be suffering from stress and/or anxiety. There are a number of ways to treat those issues. One that comes to mind is Feliway, a pheromone simulator, that is often used for aggression and stress. Another is something called Bach's Rescue Remedy, made from the essences of certain flowers, that are known to have a calming effect. There are also drugs available that may help calm your kitty down. You would need to discuss those with your vet to find out if that is the right course of action. Speaking of vets, some are better at dealing with "difficult" animals than others. I suggest looking around for a new vet that is more experienced with aggressive felines. You might try looking for a vet that deals exclusively with felines. The right vet can make all the difference. I hope some of my suggestions help. Good luck.

One of my cats claws the toilet paper while your in the loo. She pulls the sheets out and looks at you as if she done you a favour.
She also like to do somersaults against the bathroom door, if it's shut, when she hears the shower or bathwater running. When you open the door and let her in, she tries to get in the water.
When she was a kitten, she loved to swim in the bath.
I'm glad she hasn't worked out there is a pool of water in the bottom of the toilet. :)

You can teach cats to use the toilet. I swear. Put their litter box on the toilet, keep making it smaller and smaller and eventually completely take it off. Cats are smart!!

Ok, this is the funniest question I have ever seen! To the point...I do believe so..My cat Frisky does the same thing and I have considered tryin to teach him..It is either he wants to learn or is curious of why a human would be on this weird object and why it smells so bad...lol

As a cat, he is simply keeping an eye on all that happens in his domain. After all, it's really his toilet, he just allows you to use it in exchange for the privilege of petting him.

Well, if after another 10 years your cat is still watching you then he is either a very slow learner, or he is a tad bit perverted. =)

I think mine just watches me so she picks up my schedule and she can figure out a time to go downstairs and pee on my work cloths.
