ABSOLUTELY agree!! Great teams always demonstrate their greatness by winning the one run games AND by coming from behind in the late innings to win. That summarizes the greatness of the Boston Red Sox!!

Agree, Boston try to forget five games sweep by Yankees last year as Yankees kicked out Red Sox from reaching playoff as wild card to Detroit Tigers.
Detroit Tigers lost first game in playoff then comeback win three games against Yankees that made them to AL Championship Game.
Boston had the looks at the history with greatest comeback to beat Yankees in ACLS in 2004 from 0-3 to 4-3.

Agree, overall...I think the Red Sox are going to be better than the Yankees...They will take some rookie lumps when Dice K is pitching, as he has lost a couple now...But with Josh Beckett proving to be the man so far, and Curt Schilling doing well since the season opener, and of course, David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez being the best hitter duo in baseball (yes, better than Jeter and anyone else in the Yankee batting order), they should be good...Heck, I always hold my breath when Tim Wakefield is pitching, and he has been OK so far...and as you pointed out, they made a great comeback against the arch rival...Schilling didn't pitch all that great, but he pitched better than Pettite...

I agree. That's also why I feel that the Red Sox have the ability to represent the American League in the World Series this year. That and the fact that they have a pretty good all around pitching staff.

I'm a Red Sox fan but this is a stupid argument. Every team including the Yankees have the ability to comeback. The game yesterday is just one game in April. There are still plenty of games to be played so please come back down to earth.

WHat about 2003 series, where Yankee's came back! It's not about coming back its about pitching. No matter how many runs are scored. Whom ever has the better staff and pen wins.
Boston has the advantage of seei ng Mariano Rivera so much, he's like a BP pitcher for them.
But to claim Boston comes back better is not that important because the yankee's do it too.
I disagree that it makes the Sox's better.

Disagree...I'm a Tribe fan...did you see the Game on Thursday? We had a 6-2 lead going into the 9th. Our closer got the first 2 outs then somehow managed to give up 6 runs and lose the game for us 8-6. The Yanks can come back...

Disagree - every team has that ability. The Red Sox have a losing record against the Yankees. What makes the Yankees better is their owner's willingness to spend big $ for better players year after year after year.

it extremely isn't any longer crimson Sox and Yankees anymore, New England Patriots and long island Giants are coming up a sparkling contention in particular because of the reported Yankees crimson Sox contention and the supposedly suitable yet ruined season of the Patriots led to via the Giants. The NYG beat the NE interior the finished Bowl XLII 17-14. I might desire to assert it extremely is the main suitable "disenchanted" interior the history of activities itself. pass NYY and NYG!!!

Well back then they both had equal chances of coming back. Now that we have Paps tho and we tend to smoke Rivera the Sox definitely have the advantage in the late innings.
