I think I am going to Paris in June for 5 days.
I am taking my daughter for her 21st.
Where is another country I can go to easily and cheaply by train that wont take too long just for one night? Perhaps a city place?

then back to UK before I fly home to Australia.

You can take the night train to Chur in Switzerland, hang out in the Alps and then I think take it back (might have to change trains in Zurich on the way back.)

switzerland, italy, and spain are the counties near france, depends which one you like, i will recommand switzerland, most beautiful and smallest country in the center.
