Use the 2 blue slots for your first RAM installation, i.e. 1 stick of RAM in one blue slot and your other RAM stick in the other blue slot. Add more additional RAM into the black slots. Blue slots are your DIMM 0 slots, and the black are the DIMM 1 slots. Match RAM pairs 0 to 0 and 1 to 1. If you have only 1 stick of RAM put it in the slot closest to the CPU, that will be a blue slot.
