Suzanne is wrong. Stevie Wonder had a top ten single with Isn't She Lovely when the album Songs in the Key of Life was released. The baby heard crying in the beginning is an actual recording of the first cry of his daughter, Aisha, who he wrote the song for.

I didn't think that there was whistling in that song i always though that it was Stevie on the harmonica.

Stevie Wonder wrote it but it was only released on his album, David Parton was the one who had a hit with it and it was the only version released as a single.
