Is it Blood? he's been pretty healthy (no infectionous ear, no dull eyes or any other sign)
Is it because he's growing? I've noticed he has grown since I bought him.
He's a russian tortoise and he's around 3 and a half years old.
He's the only tortoise in the tank and it is pretty clean. He does eat, but not as much as he did before he had the surgery.

I should take him to the vet, but I want other ppl's opinion before I waste $75 on the appointment. Thanks

Just one question, what are you feeding it, if you are giving it cabage or lettuce then that is the problem these will cause multiple dijestive problems. You should try more protein in its diet, give it more live food. Also, raise the temperature in the tank, and give it nutrient pellets. It owould also be a good idea to talk to the doctor that performed the surgery because it may be related to that.

Your Russian 'pees'? Most Russians deposit rather dry feces, and a semi-solid white 'slime' that often has a clear component, and traces of green, etc. depending on the diet.

If there is an occasional small drop or red streak, do not worry about it. If it is frequent, or bright blood red, then consider going back to the vet.

Would need more information to be sure but if your tort has recently had surgery, take it back to the vet who did the surgery--there may be complications and it could be serious. Did you get any information on what to do after surgery and things to keep an eye out for?

I would take him back to the doctor because this could be some kind of reaction to the surgery and it could be serious.
