No; he is obviously heavier-than-water, and would have to use artificial floats, However, since he cannot drown, either, he would just walk along the bottom of the ocean. If he did put on flotation devices, and swim fins, his inhumanly great strength and untiring android body would enable him to cross bodies of water at reasonably high speed.

Well if he came back the future maybe, why not, is so heavy but in the water is possible one dispositive in order to swim. Remember in the movies all can happen
