I am a 17-year-old boy and keen to help others. But some of them don't perfer to be helped by others but to solve problems independently. What should I do? And it lead to my another question. Shall I seek help from my friends? Does it mean I'll look more independent if I don't seek help from them or politely don't accept their help? If so, what shall I do if I feel stressed because of too many school works or some more worries? Shall I hide them deep inside or to talk to them? People always say we can always find friends to talk to, but what if they feel a little bit disturbed if I talk to them too much about this? Who can tell me which way is better? Tell them or don't tell them?

You have to ride both sides of the fence. Sometimes people don't want help, and sometimes they don't know how to ask. Either way, be ready to help but don't force the issue. You seem very nice.

Don't ever interfere with anyone else's life unless they ask you to. It is okay to occasionally discuss your problems with your friends, but don't make it a habit. Just discuss the serious ones. People don't enjoy people that are constanly whining, complaining, or having trouble. They begin to avoid them after a while.
