No. It was rude and you must have looked very, very foolish. Like a complete idiot, in fact. I hope you're proud of yourself.

I know you're just being a smartass and trying to promote religious intolerance. But sadly , your douchebagness aside, i have to agree with you.

I wouldn't open my door to someone in a 'disguise' as someone else put it. I'm assuming by 'full vail' you mean the whole deal with everything covered but the eyes, including very 'draping' material which could be covering anything...
absolutely would not open my door.
It has nothing to do with religion, anyone could be wearing such a thing pretending to be something they're not for nefarious reasons.

No not really, otherwise how could you say it was a woman?

And it's illegal to wear a disguise, lol. Quick somebody call the cops, trick o treaters on the lawn. Look out, man in fuzzy red hair, white face, big shoes, he's torturing small animals made from balloons, stop him officer, arrest him for that disguise.

what if she was in trouble!!! what if someone was following her & want to harm her!!! muslim wearing a cover is like a nun covering herself.... no difference, she's still human, she's still a woman, she still might have got help from u.... what if u or one of ur relatives needed help & ended up at a muslim's house.... would u prefer urself or the relative harmed than helped by a muslim!!! this is the 21st century... when are you people gonna get over the looks, & beliefs... u're just believing that a thought - a belief - a faith that is inside a heart is going to harm you!!!

it seems to me here that if this woman wasn't wearing a veil then you would have opened the door to see what she wanted. so in my opinion this is a little rascist. having said that you can never be too careful when opening the door to strangers can you?

A Muslim woman in a veil would not be knocking on your door. She would not be approaching strangers. Common sense says it was a silly prank.

to the idiot who compared the woman to nuns, I suggest that nuns dont have the violent reputation that muslims have, so actually for safety reasons In wouldnt open the door either, in fact the first thing i would have said to her is please leave unless I can see your face when we are talking.

I respect a persons rights but when its my house its my rules or you go.

2 points to make here. Firstly it is spelt VEIL so please learn your own language before insulting other peoples cultures. secondly she is wearing a veil because of a religious belief that flaunting her body in public is obscene. She is infact protecting you from having to look at her body and also retaining some self respect. You, by your conduct in reply, have demonstrated a total lack of self respect or indeed any respect at all.

It`s your right mate how you choose to speak to somebody as long as you are not infringement of their right. It`s same as the ladies right to wear a veil full or part. there fore i have no problem with you.

you are a horrible person...that is like, someone not opening the door for you just because you are a part of a certain race/culture.
