I'm looking at the GPA and GMAT scores for Full Time versus Part Time and I see a huge difference. If I attend PT, do I have to work to qualify for admissions?

You don't need to work. What happens with all part-time programs is that they take longer to complete, so many people do not want to go through that hassle.

call the Admissions group - they have counselors to help "new" scholars - it is of their suited interest to get you into their classes so call and ask them for help. I only have been given widely used into an MBA application that i did not think of could settle for me, yet my Admissions Counselor held my hand each and every step of ways and that i'll be initiate in on Sept 2! sturdy success!

Like the guy from above, it is actually harder to get into NYU/Stern's part-time program than the fulltime. There are a lot more applicants since most people do not want to give up their fulltime job (or they have work pay for it)

Are you comparing them for the same schools? If so, I'm surprised.

The schools with the larger full time programs tend to be the more selective, ranked schools. Those with just part time programs are usually not ranked and their programs are not as selective.

There are some good schools with part time programs. For those schools, most of the part time students have similar qualifications as the full time students. For example, it is actually harder to get into Berkeley's night-time program than its day-time program.
