But since I am prepairing for MBA and she will be pursuing Phd, we have decided that we will marry after 2 years. By then, I will be 25 and she 35. I myself agree to marry her. But there are quite a great chances of resistance from my parents. But then its my decision. Do you think that a couple aged 25 and 35 is ok if we really love each other.

I am adding more info that I was relucting to share. But i think i should. Before we developed this relationship, i took her as sister and told so to my parents and friends. But within a month, we developed a new relationship and we really want to get married. what should we do?

It is definitely your decision, but don't disrespect what your parents are feeling. Is it only because of age, or could there be more to it?
Only make that decision if your certain you love her. The fact that you will be enjoying your relationship for two more years before marriage is great! It is very smart, because you need to know eachother inside and out and only time will help you do that. Divorce always takes over, when people are married too fast.
In years to come, if your certain that you cannot live without eachother and if you will do anything to make eachother happy (not yourselves), then you are in Love. True Love. Good Luck

It sound like to me the only commitment you've ever really given credence to is your education. You'll find one day the women in your age group and below are really starting to catch your eye. once life starts to slow down after graduation and not so much of your time is devoted to studying etc. At 25 you will if not today, but one day your going to get that Itch.
Mom and Dad - we tend to think that they don't know what they're talking about but they've lived a life time you're just starting the "Rat Race," stop and think; if anyone loves u in this life it your parents and all they want for you is the best. "food for thought."

Age is not an issue as far as amount of years between each other...however, twenty three is way too young to get married especially with school for both of you. Wait like you said and if it is meant to be it will happen.

yes i do! if your old enough to make the right decision then go for it. it sounds like you have given yourself plenty of time to get to know each other so why not? ultimately it is your life that you are making decisions for.

its ok outside india ... if you are concerned about ur family .. you might be from india . it might work out but recall a girl..lady is expected to mould herself to her hubbys environmnt..but that may not be possibl cos she is 33 an age where a woman cannnt change ..just be careful n dont expect too much.
