Can I be a protestant? I am a Bangladeshi born muslim with dark skin. This is important; therefore. please answer. I want to be a protestant not a catholic. Can I be? Yes, protestant is not build on physical looks or origin bu on believes. If a protestant church doesn't accept you as you are search for another one because then they are not truly Christians. Christianity is a present that anyone can have.

you have a right to have religious values and make a good person out of yourself (hopefully you will)

It's your prerogative, your choice. why is skin color is so matter for you to convert to other religion? GOD, is the one who create humans with so many skin colors. it takes faith when it comes to religion, not skin color.
