Defiantly a miss. It would probably be a lot like Everyone loves Raymond without his parents. He defiantly adds a different dynamic to the show and they couldn't have gotten a better actor to play him Stiller is hilarious. Does anyone else get the notion that he's his character is more astute then he lets on, but dumbs it down because he's comfortable in his position as the omega in the house?

Great programme, wouldn't be the same without Arthur.
You could still class it as a hit as Doug & Carrie play good parts too..
I always lmfao when watching it..

Not only did they need Arthur, they had to have Jerry Stiller play him too.

Got to say, paying a dog walker to take him out? Absolute comic genius!!!!

It would have been OK without him but he adds another fun element to the show.

Arthur is very funny. You're right it probably wouldn't be as funny but would still be good.
