This brings up the age-old question of what exactly an SUV is, and what the owner intends to use it for. If you just want to check out the roofs of other cars as you drive in city traffic, and now and then do a highway drive, then I would suggest getting a Safari, for all the comforts and luxuries it offers.
The Scorpio is slightly more rugged, and supposedly reminds you now and then that it is an M&M vehicle. The higher end models are fast catching up to the Safari in terms of luxury, but if there was even a possibility of having to drive off-road, I would blindly go for the Scorpio.
So, if you mean SUV as the big car that you use to bully all the piddling Marutis on the road, go for the Safari, but if you mean a big car that you can throw around in the wilderness on weekends, then go for a Scorpio.

I'm a fan of TATA, but I think the Scorpio is better built than the Safari Dicor... And the Scorpio looks amazing too!

Tata safari dicor is better than Scorpio in overall performances. But in speed scorpio goes upto 165kmph but dicor can go 145 only.

This is an actual vehicle? A Tata? Never heard of it. It must not be American made gas-guzzling-high-powered status symbol we all know and love.
