They land on my TV aerial and every day I have to go and clean up the mess. I can't put the spikes up because they sit on TV aerial. I've asked silly neighbour to stop feeding them but she won't listen. Any suggestions - if the answer is a gun then please tell me where to buy and what type of gun you need.

if they are on your aerial then it sounds like they are quite close range. this is the gun i use http://www.youngmans.com/acatalog/BSA_Lightning.html and i have it in .177. i can shoot pigeons easily at 30m with this thing.

Usually those spikes work real well on buildings. I would also invest in a BB gun to scare them off. Personally, my dogs go after the city chickens. Since they have achieved capture and destruction of said city chickens, I don't have much of a problem anymore. Hope this helps!!!

I have five cats and they have only ever brought two pigeons home, I don't get any pigeons hanging around my house (my neighbours do).
My recommendation is to get a cat they are great!!!!

...have you tried tying some kind of ribbon or streamers to the aerial, or maybe a dummy 'big bad bird' on your roof?
...it seems a shame to want to kill birds because of inconvenience!

go to farmers coop and get a plastic owl. they do seem to work. they work best if allowed movement such as hung on a string or affixed to a very limber switch.
