It was mine and my husbands 1st wedding anniversary on Tuesday 17th April and he has taken them down already!! I have put them up again as I usually leave them for a week

I agree with you. I leave mine up for at least a week. Put them back up again!! (mind you, if it's your 1st anniversary, you might not get as far as your 2nd if you do that!)

Usually 2 weeks. If I really like the card, and think the person that bought it put a lot of thought into it, or wrote a really meaningful message inside, I'll cut the out the front picture and the words and make it into a scrapbook page. That way I don't feel bad for throwing it out and I don't have to leave it hanging up forever.

You could also cut out a few pictures and a few lines from each card (with the name of the sender), and surround them around a picture of you and your hubby, and make them all into one page in a scrapbook, or even put it into a photo album.

I think your right.You need to keep them up for longer than what he did to show that you appreciate the people who gave the card.Anything longer than a week would be a bad idea.People will have already gotten over yalls one year anniversary and the cards would just be there hanging there to collect dust. :) Hope this helped!

put them in a box tied with ribbon and only keep special cards after that it will get full soon enough the years go by so quickly

I dont think there is a set time! I always leave mine up for a wk though. maybe its a girl thing!
