Yes they have in a sense. It is sad that the ice caps are melting and the polar bears are actually having to swim 60 miles to find somewhere to stay. I watched the documentary -The Inconvenient Truth and it is hard to imagine an animal swimming 60-miles to keep from dieing., The flamingoes are running out of places to go to also, I forget how far it said they were flying to find the proper habitation - it was alot of miles . This world is gone crazier than Hell but people don't want to admit it or believe it-but it's true-I've had to do alot of studing on this subjest lately and it's opening my eyes to things I really didn't want to see. It;s mad and crazy. But more than that sad and True!!

Stone age savages? Endangered species? Neither of these statements is anywhere close to being true. In fact some of these 'savages' have become successful businessmen, doctors, university teachers and politicians. These same savages own several modern-equipped and profitable airlines (some with large jets) and speak more languages than you likely can. They also happen to have been here for over 4,000 years, compared to our 400. If you did your homework and learned what it actually takes to hunt polar bears (maybe you could share the information with the writer of that ridiculous article) you'd see a well balanced hunt that is first and formost designed to ensure longetivity of the species, not it's demise. Yes, they can hunt when and where they please, and under that law the number of polar bears (in all 19 populations) has increased from 5,000 to 25-30,000 in the last half century. And contrary to what you've heard global warming hasn't played a part in their lives at all. They haven't even noticed it.

I used to call myself an animal rights person but it is stuff like this that made me stop saying that. It is funny how some people who "love" animals would want to kill one especially for that reason, they make me sick! Alot of them want all domesticated animals to become extinct, which is so ridiculous. They really hurt people who truly want to help animals have better lives.
