3. It also has lots of forests to hide in, lots of lakes to swim and natives who don't give a damn.

The bigger question is,why would dragons need protection
from us,the ones we can sense or see are incorporeal
and have nothing to fear from us.The best nation to deal
with dragons is any nation that promotes intelligence as
an official policy, this currently excludes the US (let's face it
ignorance and petty entertainment are the norm here in
the US) but if I were to pick any one nation it'd prob be
Japan, and that'd be due to the general populace following
2 adaptive theologies,Shinto and Buddhism.Both of these
belief systems share the knowledge that the dragon
entities as well as many other are closer than we are
usually aware of and much closer than western beliefs
will acknowledge. They also allow for a wider 'shade of
grey' than western JCI (Judeo/Christian/Islam) ever
acknowledges.
However the dragons hve no need to fear humans and
we in our arrogance have stopped fearing them, those
of us who've encountered them in spiritual experiences like
NDEs (Near Death Experience) and the like know that
a very healthy respect is essential since they could wipe
human existance away like one cleans a write on/wipe off
board.
Btw,this was a good question,which is why I answered.

1. Canada
2. Lay of the land and 'whatever' attitude of the people.
3. There is still so much undiscovered country and areas where dragons could hide. There is alot of areas due to climate conditions that would naturally keep out the masses that would help ensure the survival of dragons.

i think , well i guess any warm climate . because i assume that a lizard is cold blooded and need the heat. I'm sure they existed probably many other animals we don't know about from the prehistoric time. fire breathing ? if they were subjected to cold, could be they developed a heating thing in their body. like Merlin's dragon . they lived in Avalon where it was cold. I've heard of people self com busting. so why couldn't this be possible?

1. Romania
2. With the Carpathian Mountains, the dragons would have LOTS of space where they could stay hidden from fearful Man.
3. Sure as hell would draw in the Eastern European tourism, which needs all the help it can get, since it's probably still recovering from the poor communist economy it used to have. ;P

1. U.S. ....In particular Alaska
2. Most of Alaska is unknown and wild. We grow wildlife really big up here and would be a bit more nourishing for said Dragon. We are isolated from most of the world and have the largest mountain ranges in the Northern Hemisphere
