What's wrong Sally, I'm not here to make people angry. and with so many people looking in, I'm bound to make a large number of those want to pull their hair out. I am sorry you are one of them, but law of averages you know...........

Actually I would say four kinds of lies, a small lie, a big lie, politics and the massive media lie! Now that is the truth!!Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could actually believe something that our Politicians and Media said? But we all know that can only happen in our dreams.

The first lie, the second to cover the first lie. Politics I won't even go into. A lie is a lie, the consequences determine the degree.

There's no such thing as truth, except for the fact that "I think, therefore I am." So everything's a lie. You can't say you're sure about anything. We could just be brains in a vat being fed information.

Yes, I could not agree more. What's worse is that politics is an accepted lie. We all know that each party's platform is full of lies and empty promises, but we vote for them anyway.

I only agree that a lie is a lie. Rationalizations do not make a lie more palatable.

Yes, because they are intertwined. One lie leads to another, that leads to another, etc. Example: Richard Nixon's line, "I am not a crook..."
