Yes, I used to think that having my heart broken would never have a positive effect.
I have come to realize that having my heart broken has made me wiser and more compassionate.
It's good to know not every negative experience leads to a negative outcome.

Every negative experience I've gone through eventually enables me to help someone that may be going through a similar situation. It makes me grateful that I made it through and that I can offer that same hope to someone else! For that reason I wouldn't change anything about my past...not a single thing! (well...maybe last night when I stubbed my toe AGAIN, but...) j/k lol

I tend to put every unknown situation in a negative light, and it usually turns out better than expected. I guess that's what they call being a pessimist.

i used to think being sexual was negative. I thought girls who talked about sex were sluts, but then i realized that these girls are just human and were just simply more open about sex than i was. maybe i was just jealous that they were able to talk about it and i wasn't. now that I've admitted to liking sex, i talk about it all the time. i even encourage girls to talk about sex. its not fair that guys are able to have sex for fun but girls are only suppose to have sex to show love. girls who call other girls sluts are just putting down their own gender. i feel that if you like sex and want to share it then do it!
of course you should still be smart about it. if youre going to have sex with someone, still use protection and make sure youre absolutely positive that your sex partner doesnt have STD's. other than that, i think its perfectly fine to have sex with whoever you want. girls should also be smart enough to know that sex does not always equal love. sex is a good way to show love but it doesnt always. if a girl is going to have a one night stand, she should know the difference between the two. if both partners agree to have sex, they should both be aware of how the other person is standing with it.

Yes. My divorce. I thought it was the end of things. Actually, over time, it has proven to be the beginning of something better.

I do it all the time. What Satan meant for our harm, God turns to our good. Something you thought was terrible can turn out to be a good thing after all. Or, at least we learn from it.

Yes, but I'm still afraid of what it all means....and taking it one day at a time is tearing at my heart, but it's all I can do. All I can do is hope...
