Very good question (despite the real idiot who answered first). I’m hoping, of course, that they will begin to step back from socialism at last. It has been sad to witness a once great nation like theirs slip further and further into decline. By the way, that’s one big reason they have been such a mercurial ally of the U.S.: simple envy of America’s ever-increasing dominance of the world stage (despite our great benevolence) where they once played a large role and our ever-spreading cultural influence (admittedly, mostly bad) on their revered way of life. My prediction: a marked shift to the right toward free-enterprise and real immigration control. I’ll be spending this July in Paris; I hope I’ll be toasting their future!

If people had as much knowledge as they have opinions, this would be a terrific world!Even if you don't have a dictionary, you obviously have use of a computer.Look up and try to comprehend the difference between socialism and communism. This is not for the asker of this question, but for some of those obviously unknowledgable answerers.

The lure of something for nothing is strong. The seduction of the culture of envy is too overwhelming. I'm afraid you are right. They will have to go a lot lower in the economic spectrum for the people to find out how evil socialism is. Elections become even more obviously "advance auctions on stolen goods- H.L. Mencken"

In the mean time, the father of all lies laughs all the way to the bank. Envy, sloth, theft, hatred, all his handywork in the name of economic equality.
