i actually enjoyed it. its not my typical movie, but i watched it with my boyfriend, and it was cool. it was about the loss of liberties set sometime in the future, where citizens are afraid of their government. There becomes an avenger for the common people. Kinda like the comic book hero movies. I'd watch it again, but i didn't buy it.

V for Vendetta is set in the near future showing us that once again government is responsible for our societys' downfall. Then, one man shows the people (to coin a phrase) "people should not fear their governments, governments should fear their people". Guy Fawkes was an actual person though who did try to blow up parliament. So it made a pretty cool backstory.
