just think about what questions they may ask. When you are in the interview just pretend that you are talking to a freind and also try not to make it a big deal about going to the interview.Go in there with the attitude that they are the needy ones and that you have the upper hand.It works for me.

Just the fact that you take the time to post a question about how you want to be more confident and less nervous, means that you have a lot of desire. It means you are very capable of being confident. Just believe in yourself and it helps to write out everything you KNOW you are good at or your strong points. Go over those things the night before.
Another thing to remember is that everyone on this planet, believe it or not, is simply HUMAN. They all have hopes and dreams and fears. No one is above you, no matter what earthly title they have been given.
Also the more you prepare for the details of the job you are interviewing for, the less nervous you will be. Arm yourself with knowledge to fall back on when you feel nerves coming on. Hope this helps!

Prepare. Try to anticipate the questions that you will be asked and have an answer ready. (Such as--"What makes you feel that you are the best qualified for this position", etc...Also, you should do some research about the company that you are interviewing, so that you will appear to be much more interested and knowledgeable. Dress appropriately in clothes that you feel confident in. Good luck!!

Starting now, project yourself into the interview situation. Imagine going into the office, meeting the interviewer, sitting down, talking to him. Play it over in your mind. Think of things to say and play that over in your mind. The idea is to make it all familiar before you get there so you are not nervous. If possible, go there now to see what the place looks like so it's more familiar on the 26th.

There is no reason to get nervous, here is the tips and reasons.......

Tips:
always smile and be polite (this occupies 80% of probability of getting hired), for whatever reason you don't know the answer to the quesiton, you just smile, and be modest saying you will check out the answr after going hom.

Reasons:
1. For junior position, the ability of what you have now is not the most important factor, usually a firm needs a young man who is having good attitude to learn, willing to take challenge, and appreciate what they try to teach you........and not asking for high salary at the beginning........

2. The interviewer will find someone they can "click" with, who makes them feel comfortable of taking to them, and they like the way you look at them in a respect and admiring way.

3. The interviewer don't like to hire someone with great ability and with bad attitude, cause it makes them feel not comfortable.

4. Every interview, hire for different position, might look things in different ways. For example, he just needs someone to do assitant and dirty work, he will pay low to midium to hire a average educated one. if he is looking for technical position, he will find someone well educated, but doens't mean he will pay well. so, do you get it? it is really not about how good you are, it is about if you fit their needs.

so, there is nothing to worry about, if you don't get this job, maybe next time you will get better one. don't be nervous, just remember to smile, and be polite.

I talk to myself! Seriously. I go over possible questions in my head and talk it out. Once I took a shot of vodka, but I would not recommend that!

On the way to the interview, turn up a favorite song in the car and sing it so loud, you start laughing at yourself. Your nerves will calm down. Practice possible questions though. Go online and dig! Good luck.

im 26 to and i find that picturing your interviewer in a clown outfit works for me cos i then can't help smiling and that is a good thing believe me!

also ask lots of questions... they don't like to think they are taking on a know-it-all. Questions = interest!

Well, you can try wearing bright blue. it's proven to help calm people down. Light pink does too (but don't wear that), although I can't imagine how. That's my advice as a graphic designer. However, in theater, they do a sort of warm up, "to form ur energy", and to put out stress. try researchin about this, it really helps release the tension.

Self confidence comes fromwithin. How you enter and conduct yourself is all on you. Dress nice. be well groomed, have all your paperwork in order, answer the questions clearly and sell yourself--otherwise you won't get the job. It is only another person you are talking to--just pretend he or she is another friend. good luck--relax --- smile
