Do you people realize that he was a product of your own xenophobic society which breeds hatred and intolerence leading him to hate happiness over productivity and to hate those differ from your idiotic routine lifestyle ie. his references to John Mark Karrs and Debra Lafave- anything you cannot relate to you despise and look where it gets you, one of your own killing your own. The funny part is that he k'lled you, not me! You created a monster to eat me and he devoured you instead. good riddance to the entire human race. Thank you for offing yourselves

i think regulating arms is a great idea. If it wasn't for the school having banned students from legally carrying guns they may have been able to defend themselves against the shooter... and then he wouldn't have achieved such a high body count :-(

I just reported you to the authorities because I'm afraid you'll do the same thing he did.

You know... I agree that people can be cruel and heartless... I have had my fair share and then some of being picked on, but violence doesn't solve the issue at hand. Going out and hurting others is not going to change the past, and should not be an option in these matters. It is sad that he felt there was no other option, but his actions were still wrong.
Keep in mind though that we have to stop this B.S. ... People have different stress levels, and something should have been learned from Columbine... Society rejects those that don't fit in and in some cases when someone doesn't fit in, they push themselves farther from society to dampen the pain of rejection, add in a mental illness, (in some cases), and things get ugly.
One last thing... Saying that the people that died deserve it, is just about as bad as pulling the trigger yourself. Those are some seriously scary thoughts... I think you should talk with someone about things within your own life. It seems to me you need someone to listen to you.

I agree that what a person focuses on the most is what they will make happen in their lives..But I also understand how a person can perceive this world as being unfair and deserving of some sort of destructive vengeance..this guy yea played a big part in doing it to himself but no one payed attention to his cry for help because most people in this world are only concerned with themselves as well..yea it takes two to tango he wouldn't reach out because of pride and the fear of more rejection or pain...but no one with any compassion stepped up and said hey you need help let me help you either...and so he felt alone outcast..but the interesting thing is when you step back from something and see it from a distance you get a better view of what it is..and yes this American society is unfortunately worshiping money and all the useless material things it will buy...and it made him sick made him want to get further away from a disturbed society that does judge everyone that's different or not like all the other sheep in the herd as being bad or not worth love...and thus was created a mass murderer someone alienated by a disturbed sick society wanting love but not able to accept it from the people of a mentally and spiritually weak people..sick angry and seeing no other course of action but to try to destroy what he saw as evil and hurtful...completely understandable

no one has had a perfect life. although i believe he had been abused terribly as a kid, there comes a time when people should take responsiblity for their actions and not blame others for their actions.
whether he did this on his own volition, mentally insane, whatever i do feel sorry for everyone involved. i hate to have lived in his hell.
some say he may have had a medical problem also.
charles whitman did something like this in a texas school a few years back. killed 13, wounded many. it was found he had a cancerous tumor pressing on his part of the brain that triggers aggression.

Rebellion is within us . He chose a wrong method to rebel out . And I agree that a person who can take lives can never be insane . People take refuge to all these crap because Legal system allows them to do so . The big question should be how to avoid such things . I do not have rock solid answer myself , but I think, to begin with Arms sales and dealings should be a highly regulated affair like , say, Plutonium. What, do you say.

I'm worried about you now too.
After seeing the videos he made he was obviously focusing on what he considered negitives in his life.
People who think that the world is against them are blind to the people that may actually want to help.
I've known several people who seem Psychotic (sp) but try to help them and they turn on you. Some don't want to be helped and don't want to think there is anything wrong with them. S
o other people in their life that are making the best of things or appear to 'get it easier' are where they focus their hatred.
People need to give society a break. We're all doing our best.

Bull.
The only person at fault in this crime was the shooter.
Society has never been a rose garden, but this whack-o went postal and killed a group of people who probably had nothing to do with his troubles.
I've got troubles, and I'm sure you have them. I don't blame society, and I don't blame "you people," whoever they are.
Get real. This guy had a screw loose and if you don't see that you'd better check yourself out with a screwdriver as well.

i kinda relate to what you are saying.....the whole xenophobe thing and all, but......i'm a freak.....i love people, but have been unsuccessful in getting into a close friendship....even with those i might possibly have something in common with, it is very hurtful, but i don't go around thinking about killing people....someday, people will start to die off.....and i can't say that i'll be too upset......but that is natural causes from people not balancing life correctly, but if you are going to sit there and say that what he did was to be expected, i'd say that you are wrong....if what you are saying is actually how it is, and we should expect it, then we should be able to expect even the most heinous acts out of anybody......like making children make our clothes in another country or something like that.....or petiphilia.......i do not think petiphilia should be concidered something to be expected, but under your definition, it would be......i don't know....i should just stop here.....my thoughts are becoming incoherent, even to me.......what ever

It takes two to tango.
He also did not have the coping skills needed to ask people for help. Yes, there are people who can help out there. They are called the rest of us. Most people are good people who want the best for each other and look out for each other; it is only a select few of us who buy into the whole social clique thing. Take responsibility for your own life, for goodness sake. No one has to do this kind of thing. No one has to suffer through this kind of thing. Suffering is caused by people making bad choices. Stop the suffering by educating yourself, taking responsibility for yourself and others, and asking for help when you need it and give it when you can.

Great, let's not let any blame fall on his shoulders. We do have to stand for the rights of the deranged foreigner who wants to kill a lot of people. He shouldn't be held responsible for his crimes. We should be. He was a criminal, a mass murderer. Any-one that thinks he's justified in what he did, is no better.

He was insane, definitely, and you're just a kid who cannot think straight at this hour.
By the way, when you accuse the rest of the world of being guilty for what that guy did, don't you include yourself in this "rest of the world". What are you, an extraterrestrial entity? You are as guilty as I am, then.
