I would ask her who she was, and if she needed help. I would try to help her to the light if she needed help, if she was in visitation, I would talk to her, find out what she regrets, and make sure I don't have those same regrets. And if I could be matchmaker to the deceased, I would probably do that too. Very original question, it's refreshing to actually find an interesting question like yours.

Good morning Ladyk....If I witnessed seeing a ghost walking along the beaches where I lived, I think I would be in shock at first and then I would just observe her actions. Nothing like upsetting a ghost!...lol After maybe a few days of watching her to see what she does then I might approach her very quietly and ask her why she is still here on earth and why she hasn't moved on. Then depending on her response I would proceed. Whether it was to assist her in anyway so she could move on or to leave her alone so she could dwell on her past life. Have a spiritual one!

'The Lady In Brown' is infrequently seen by day amid groups
of students between Buchannan Towers and The Viking Union. The stories usually have one person exclaiming, OH MY GAWD ITS THE LADY IN BROWN, upon realizing nothing
extends downwards between hips and walkway. This vision
vanishes instantly upon recognition. Afterward others in the
group may recall seeing same and sometimes having seen
lips move as if sharing in conversations. The University Staff
deny knowledge of hauntings. I've seen nothing but have overheard a dozen or so private conversations about this.
I'd be inclined to question the nature of death without overt recognition and listen. What might I be told?

Well, I believe that ghosts are echoes of events past so I don't see the ghost as an entity in and of itself so I would probably watch it and then try to photograph it for further study. I would also try to investigate why it was there ... find out what tied the echo to that place and perhaps even to a cleansing to release the trapped energy.

If that ghost showed a sign of being friendly of course, I would because I would like to know what took place in life that brought her to were is as a ghost! And if not friendly I would still, take a chance!

Honestly, I think I would let her know I am near, but for the most part leave her be unless she seems to be in some sort of pain or varying state of sadness. If she needed it, I would be open to help her and if she wanted it, I would be open to talk.

Oh you would fit in with our family! We take our late fathers ghost everywhere! And he plays board games with my son has his own chair and gets ice water!
So if it was me I would try to see if there was a male ghost she was looking for and find him for her

I would simply leave her alone. She knows where I am at. If she needs me, she will come to me and start communicating with me, whether I want to or not.
You really need to leave her alone, by minding your own business.
