first, you can add the 10/48 and the 5/48 to get 15/48.

Multiply the denominators 30*48= 1440.

Multiply the 6 by 48 = 288

Multiply the 15 by 30 = 450

so now 288/1440+ 450/1440 = 738/1440

simplify

369/720

simplify

123/240

That is your answer

When adding fractions with different denominators,you must find a least common denominator
30=2x3x5
48=2x2x2x2x3

2^5 x3^2 x5=32 x9=288 x5=1440 can be reduced to 720 since both are divisible to 720 and a 3 which gives the lcd at 240

6/30+10/48+5/48=?
48/240+50/240+25/240=123/240=41/80

Well we should convert every fraction into a common denominator, and/or reduce.
6/30 + 10/48 + 5/48
(1/5 + 5/24 + 5/48)
Unfortunately the common denominator is high, (5 * 48 = 240)
Therefore:
48/240 + 50/240 + 25/240 = 123/240, since we can't reduce that, that's it;

123/240
