I saw it years ago when in high school as a life lesson film and it did drive the point home, even though I saw it years after it was popular; not every relationship, no matter how much you "love" someone works out. Sometime you form relationships that you otherwise think would not work out that do. You can never go back again...you have to accept reality and move on, no matter how much it hurts.

Yes. Starring Natalie Wood. I love that old movie.
It is a CLASSIC! She is SO good in that movie.
Another one of her movies I love is, This Property Is Condemned. If you like Splender in the Grass, You would love that one too.

yes i saw this movie many times i like the version with Natalie wood and warren beatty better than the version with Melissa Gilbert.
