I've already called in sick the day before my 2 days off and really need to take the day after off (making 4 days off). I only risk getting written up but I need to take care of urgent business that I have put off for too long already. Do I try to squeeze it in my lunchbreak and go over, which I've unsuccessfully tried before (could still be written up), or do I just do it?

Do not call in sick tomorrow. You need to be able to pay your bills, so you need your job. Work out with your job/boss getting a future day off so you can take care of your business. It would really look bad that you stretch your 2 days off into 4 days.

If you keep doing things to get written up, eventually you'll have all the time off you need, because you'll be unemployed.

It depends on the job.

If the job sucks then I wouldn't go to work.

Ask yourself how much you value or need your job.
