saying kobe sucks is just plain childish, carrying an injured to playoffs isnt anything? He would have way more assist if he had healthy players that could knock down a shot, haters either need to learn the game of basketball or grow up, . Theres also other great players like nash, lebron " my favorite ", wade, amare, marion, and alot of other players.

jdwj76's this guy must be in jordan land or somthing , he needs to get off jordans nuts offense bud =), theres others players nuts you can hang onto.

sorry 1 sec let me get my hater spray they just keep comming back, where the heck do they keep comming from ?

GO CAVS !!

Don't pay any attention to the people who don't know any better. The people who are saying that Kobe Bryant sucks don't reaaly know all that much about basketball to begin with. Kobe Bryant is a great player hands down.

Hey AJ,

Glad this is coming from a non-Laker fan.

As a LA guy and a Kobe-fan... all i can say is that a lot of people have opinions about Kobe without even knowing the game.

He does take bad shots sometimes- but he's in a catch 22. If he shoots (even when he's making a high percentage) he's a "ballhog". When he passes too much (they say he's being selfish to prove a point).

The truth is if you put anyone else in the league on the Lakers in Kobe's team they'd be a sub .500 team. i think Garnett is playing with Better stiffs (and look at that team).

You're right there are just plain-haters.

The truth is Kobe consistenly makes difficult shots (esp. at the end of games) and if you interviewed any coach in the league who they most fear having to figure out a strategy to guard it'd be Kobe. He just has never had a supporting cast around him.

In terms of comments about his selfishness and not wanting to change. I've followed Kobe his entire career and one year when he hurt his hand and was injured i saw him practicing with his left hand (shooting jumpers, etc.) and he incorporated that into his game. Yes while Shaq was here Kobe played 2nd fiddle, but Kobe kept adding and working on improving his game, and i've seen him pass more the last couple of years (he'd average 8 assists this year if his teammates could knock down some shots).

Good luck to your Cavs though i don't think they have enough to beat the Pistons or Heat in the East.

GO LAKERS!

I don't hate Kobe -- I hate what he has done to my team. I've been a Lakers fan for 40 years. I've seen so many great teams play and what he has done to the Lakers by basically forcing Shaq to leave and then to turn the Lakers into a one-trick pony (him). I don't like the way he discourages team play. I think he can become the MVP, but he needs to trust his teammates and distribute the ball more. After all, it IS a team game.

I don't think so! He is an arrogant, selfish, ball hog who does not wish to learn how to play a more balanced and masterful game like Michael Jordan or Tim Duncan. He is also a dirty player when he becomes desperate and finds himself loosing, Michael Jordan and Tim Duncan and to a degree Shaq keep under control better than Kobe, remember who got the MVP each time the Lakers won the championship, not Kobe but Shaq.

Kobe haters ignore the facts when they dis and criticize him. Without Kobe the Lakers would be in the Memphis Grizzlies spot. If you watch a Laker game, sure Kobe shoots 30 shots, but its because he has too, no other player on his team can score except Lamar Odom. And when Kobe gets double/triple teamed and passes out, his teammates cant make an open shot to save their life. So those Kobe haters need to get their facts straight before they start bashing him.

yes, yes they are, though some of those obsessive compulsive Kobe lovers can get on my nerves to because just like the haters not all of them look at the facts and throw out inaccurate or false info, I think both sides of the spectrum need to cool it...

Go Rockets!!!

journey with the tide, dude! genuine Lakers followers would be deluged with this terrible profanities against Kobe everywhere we bypass because of the fact they might't stand his skills to do some thing interior the basketball court docket. they're going to all bypass away while they close out the Spurs and while this is achieved, be waiting to do conflict with the followers of the EC champs (whoever which would be). merely chortle them out and that they're going to all bypass away.............

they're not being childish, they're just being stupid.

kobe is a great player and he is not a selfish player. he does take it upon himself when he feels that his teammates aren't doing sh*t to win - which has often been the case with the lakers since shaq left. when shaq was a laker, kobe was more than willing to let him be a "star" - that's why shaq won those mvp awards and not kobe.

Kobe doesn't suck, but he is selfish, regardless of if he had healthy player that could knock down shots, he'd still be a ball hog...
