You gained free will when you became a something that exists. Your free will comes from the fact that no one can ever predict how you will act in any given event 100%. It would take knowing more information then is in the system to figure out.

I was not born free. There are at least one million words in the US Tax Code. There are hundreds of laws that were in place the moment that I was born.

By feeling the need for asking this question ,perhaps you have answered it yourself . The rule in today 's world is simple , YOU are free if you can ensure others are not . Ponder over it . Tables do overturn sometimes .
