I am 100% against and always will be no matter what anyone says to me to try to change my mind. Every child has a right to live no matter how they were created. It is still a human being.

Pro choice. It is no ones decision but the woman's. No one should be forced to have a child, just because 'you can always give it up for adoption'. Plus, look at all the years that abortion was outlawed. Did that stop women? Uh, no. Abortion is as old as humanity. There are herbs that were used thousands of years ago to end unwanted pregnancies.
As well, women are always accused of using it as birth control. That holds true for men as well. How many of us know someone who got pregnant and the father said ,'Get rid of it'? If we want to lower the number of abortions, then we have to get real and be honest that people younger and younger are having sex, and need to be properly educated about how to stay disease free and un-pregnant. It is appalling to me that in this day when you can walk into a SLeven and buy condoms, the teen pregnancy rate is so high.
OK, rant done. I am pro choice, but I think it is heart wrenching for anyone to have an abortion. No one takes this decision lightly - even when it may be viewed that way. And I feel that even though it is not an option for me, that the right must be there and be protected, so that women are free to make the choice in a safe and clean environment.

I don't agree with abortion in the willy-nilly sense. I totally disagree with women who are careless and think nothing of an abortion. But, on the other hand, there are times when a woman is trapped. She may have been raped, or maybe, she was young and not properly prepared. I think at these times common sense must prevail. But just because I've decide not to have more children I wouldn't go running to an abortion clinic if I did fall pregnant. Life to me is valuable.

Well, I don't like it, and believe, every person
deserves to be born.
Though, if a woman/girl is raped, had never intended
on haveing a child, then yes, the abortion is
the only way to go, if she does not want the child, never
intended on haveing the child, was forced, or
led to believe it would have a mother and father to
take care of the child, or some cases, a mother and
mother.
So, my thoughts are, you shouldn't, if you just don't
want kid's, and plan on not takeing care of the child.
If you don't want the child, you can allways put it up for
adoption.
You should, if you were raped, or drugged, then
sexually handeled, not knowing that you had sex,
then yes, then I can see, a woman haveing an abortion.

i think it is kinda perverted. I mean others suggest it, well people will say and talk about stuf, but it's your decision at the end isn't it. It's the mother's decision. And if the mother gives in- i think it is the most selfish thing you can do as a person. An unborn life, inside you, because of something YOU did (mostly), and now you are murdering it for no fault of its? It's a sinful (tho i don't really adhere proficiently to religion) and a shameful act, being a woman and now a mother!

Those who stand against abortion often stand against tax dollars to help poor single mothers. It doesn't make much sense to me. Death penalty advocates are often staunch pro-lifers. It's a right that women and couples have. Plain and simple. It is not an emblem of political affiliation and social awareness. Bumper stickers proudly showing off such opinions show how abused and misunderstood this topic has become.

If I believed in abortion I probably most definitely wouldn't be a mother today. The first one got me going, I have 5 and I thank god for them. I really believe that everything happens for a reason and I'm so grateful that I'm not an older women with no children wondering if it's going to be to late for me to have children.
women who have abortions are liars when they say don't have any kids, I can't stand that. that's how I feel about abortion.
But I do feel that women should be given their own choice.

I am pro-choice. I don't think it is a method of birth control. I don't think that the state has the right to impose the religious views of some on all the people. And a woman is not a slave. She has a right to decide what happens to her body. A rape victim should not be forced by the state to bear a child. That is another form of victimization.

Pro-choice. Females should have every right to decide whether their want to bring a child into this world. What's worst kiling a child at 2 wks to 4 wks the most or having to bring it in this evil world to be scrutinize, branish, suffer and hoping they will one day be adopted by "loving" families or grow up not to be mentally or physically affected by such a life. Cause that's all bull.

im pro-choice. i believe in elective abortions up to 14 weeks. beyond that, i believe that they should only occur for certain circumstances. but i would never judge a woman if she got a late term abortion.
